All software, algorithms, scoring methodologies (including the FundaIndex 5-pillar system), user interface designs, brand elements, written content, and AI personas (including Benjamin) are the intellectual property of BestRate.lk unless otherwise stated. Unauthorised reproduction, copying, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any platform content is strictly prohibited and may constitute infringement of applicable intellectual property laws of Sri Lanka and international conventions.
Data Sources & Attribution
Market data for FundaBoard is sourced from publicly available publications including: • Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) daily data • LOLC Securities Comps Sheet (used with attribution for data ingestion) • Company financial filings and CSE announcements BestRate.lk does not represent that this data is endorsed or verified by the CSE, the SEC of Sri Lanka, LOLC Securities, or any other institution. Data is used under fair-use principles for educational purposes.
Regulatory Status
BestRate.lk operates as an information and analytics service. It is NOT: • A registered investment advisor under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC). • A licensed stockbroker or stock dealer. • A registered financial planner or wealth manager. • A licensed bank, financial institution, or money services business. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their investment and financial activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Sri Lanka.
Loan Comparison Service
The Best Loan comparison tool presents information about loan products offered by licensed Sri Lankan banks and financial institutions. BestRate.lk does not receive referral fees, commissions, or any form of compensation from banks for directing users to their products. The service is provided free of charge as an informational tool only.
Liability Limitation
BestRate.lk makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We accept no liability for: • Financial losses arising from use of platform information. • Typographical errors, calculation mistakes, or data inaccuracies in any figures, scores, or comparisons displayed. • Decisions — financial, investment, or otherwise — made based on platform content. • Data delays, system downtime, or third-party service failures (e.g., database, AI API). • Differences between data shown on this platform and official company filings or CSE publications. Dispute Resolution

Language
These legal documents are written in English. In the event of any conflict between an English version and a translated version of these documents, the English version shall prevail.
